Thank you to everyone who auditioned or interviewed for tech for The Lightning Thief. We are pleased to announce the Cast & Crew list (attached)

A couple of notes:
  1. A reminder of how we deal with not getting the role/position we wanted:
    1. DON'T take it personally
    1. DON'T disparage the person who got the role
    1. DON'T post about it on social media
    1. DON'T have parents get involved

      DO congratulate your peers
      DO make the best of it
      DO try again next time
      DO show me how hardworking & dedicated you are

  2. Tech Crew: If you interviewed for a tech position and you do not see your name on this list, that is an error (unless, of course, you were cast in the show). We do not cut anyone from tech crew. Please notify me if you think you should be on a crew and don't see your name on there. Also, if you auditioned and didn't make the show and did not do a tech interview, there is still room on the scenic crew because the set is going to be huge and we could use all the help we can get. E-mail me if you want to join scenic!
  3. Next week we have 2 important full cast/crew meetings
    1. Cast/Crew Meeting #1
      Monday 8/24 - 3-5:30pm in the auditorium.
      Plan to have your headshot taken at this meeting for promotional materials. 

    2. Cast/Crew Meeting #2
      Tuesday 8/25 - 3-5:30pm in the auditorium
      SENIORS - you will have your professional banner shots taken on this day, please wear a solid-colored top that fully covers your shoulders (no tube tops or spaghetti straps)

  4. Audition Feedback: if you would like some feedback on your audition, please wait 48 hours after casting and then e-mail me with a request to set up a meeting for feedback. AKA: please wait until Monday 7pm to email requesting feedback.

  5. Double Tech Crew: some people were assigned to double tech crews. If you do not have the capacity to serve on both positions, please indicate so on the acceptance form linked below. No hard feelings if you can't, we just think you'd be great in more than one position!
  6. Parent Meeting: Please inform your parent that there is a MANDATORY parent meeting on Monday night at 6:00pm. If they cannot be there, they need to email me to let me know ([email protected]). I must make contact with an adult from every student involved in this show.
  7. Schedule: Over the weekend, I will be updating the Theatre Calendar with more detailed rehearsal and tech crew schedules. The goal is to have everything fleshed out by Cast/Crew Meeting #1. The calendar is linked on www.owtheatre.com
